The National Piano Foundation was founded in 1962 as the educational arm of the Piano Manufacturers Association International (formerly the National Piano Manufacturers Association), the piano industry trade association founded in 1891. NPF coordinates and implements programs and activities that encourage more active piano participation, as well as serve and strengthen the piano community. NPF is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) educational foundation. All donations to the National Piano Foundation are tax deductible as allowed by law.
