I am new to owning a pinao store. It is encouraging to me to know that the Foundation is doing so much to improve the piano community. This dealer Code of Ethics is great and I hope more dealers and salespersons will follow it. I commit our store to following these guidelines and ethics.

I have a Mendelssohn Baby Grand Piano, which I was told was built in 1913 in Derby, Connecticut. It has never been restored. It needs a new sounding board, I think. I have been the owner since 1966. The original owners were Second Baptist & Central Baptist Churches(housed in the same building), across the street from the State of Ga. Capitol on Washington St. in Atlanta, Georgia. I would like to learn more about the Mendelsohn Piano Co. It might be even older, because the church preceeded the Civil War, during which time Gen. Shermann had an agreement with church leaders not to burn the three downtown churches in that block, when he burned Atlanta on his way to the sea.

National Piano Foundation,
I am a first time visitor to your site and I wanted to compliment you on the clear information you provide. Also, just noticed NPF is based is Dallas, Tx. Maybe we could collaborate on a project in the future.

All the Best,
